As of September 1, 1967, there were 38 members of the Class of 1906 living plus one honorary member, Bob Russell. This group is scattered in seventeen states, plus one in the District of Columbia, OliverCromwell; and one in Spain, Max Hartmaim.

Nine members are still living in the state in which they were born and one of these, Randall Cooke, has the rare distinction of still living in the house in which he was born.

I am sorry to report that the class record in the Alumni Fund was not up to our usual standard. Contributions from the members were off but our loyal and generous group of forty widows, one brother, one sister, one daughter and four sons exceeded their last year's total. In the Veteran Class Group 1906 ranked third in the amount of money raised.

Word from Walter Powers advises that Ethel is in the hospital again recovering from a serious abdominal operation. Here is hoping that when she gets out this time she will never have to go back again.

Art Chapin writes that the vacation weather at the New England beaches this summer has been bad a great deal of the time.

On July 11 Halsey Edgerton passed away after a long illness. At our 60th Reunion Lorraine and Hal insisted that we hold our outdoor party at their home and Hal got a great deal of pleasure out of it.

If you have not sent your check for dues to Francis be sure to do so as soon as possible.
