1956 IS THE BIG YEAR FOR 1906
Hillsboro, N.H., the birthplace of Franklin Pierce, fourteenth President of the United States, is this year planning to restore his home and gardens to their original beauty. The six fireplaces in the fourteen-room home are to be rebuilt and the old-fashioned flower garden brought back to its original grandeur.
The president of the Historical Society, which is undertaking this program, is our classmate George W. Boynton.
Constance and King Benton spent most of last year touring Europe for the purpose of making sketches and gathering materials for painting European scenes. The Bentons are building a home and studio in Carmel, Calif., which they hope will be finished by July first.
The Reunion Committee is hard at work preparing the details of our Reunion program. It will be an interesting and enjoyable weekend at a minimum cost, so don't fail to attend.
