The 1968 Alumni Fund Campaign officially opens on April 1. I hope very much that each member of the Class will send in his gift as early as possible.
There are 36 classmates still living. Last year all but four contributed. Eight members increased their gift, seventeen gave the same amount and seven gave a smaller amount.
Our president, Walter Powers, advises thatFrancis Childs has agreed to taker over ArtChapin's job, newsletter editor of the Green Messenger.
George Swasey passed away on January 9. The Class extends its deepest sympathy to his widow and children.
The middle of February Arthur Kelley with Marion and Bill set out on an automobile trip into Southern California and Mexico. Hope they get to Acapulco and Mexico City.
Right after Christmas Ethel and WalterPowers went to England. They were expecting to stay three weeks but there was a flu epidemic and Ethel could not go into the stores or the theatre so they came home on January 9.
Many years ago, on March 13 the stork flew into Denver, Colo., and left a baby boy, Ralph Glaze, on the doorstep of a house. Then the stork flew East and on March 20 stopped in Stratford, Conn., and dropped Eliot Cogswell. From there he flew to Meriden, N.H., and left a baby boy, Converse Chellis with the cows and horses on March 22. Best wishes to these three for a Happy Birthday.
