The Association held one of its most successful beach parties to date at the Town of Hempstead Beach at Point Lookout on June 25, 1967. The surf was great and over a hundred alumni and their spouses and offspring cavorted with glee. The highlight of the day was President Gordon McKernan'42 standing on a picnic table announcing the winners of the annual raffle. The big prize went to a non-Dartmouth man of Smithtown, L. I., but there were sufficient extra prizes that virtually every family went home with something.

John Cornehlson '29 won the prize for bringing the most guests including old friend Jack Robinson '33 of Scarsdale.

During the day the annual meeting was held and the following officers elected for next year: Gordon McKernan '42 president; Brodie Bjorklund '41, Ist vice president, Bob Spencer '55 2nd vice president, MikePender '47, secretary; Joel Ash '56, assistant secretary, Clark Brink '52, treasurer, and Sabin Danziger '64, assistant treasurer. New or reelected executive committee members were Mark Smoller '53, Ed Greenberger '52, John Cornehlson '29, Ira Schattman '56, and John Perley '59.

The Association was greatly saddened this past summer by the passing of one of its founders and ex-president, Ed Warnke '19. He was a truly great supporter of the organization and he will be sorely missed.
