Applications for the 1967 Alumni College have been coming into Hanover at such a steady rate that the program's director, J. Michael McGean '49, Secretary of the College, sees room for only about 50 more families.
Although the application form ap-peared along with the course description in the January issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE, Mr. McGean notes (for the benefit of those who may have misplaced the issue) that all it takes to register for the August 13-24 program is a letter to Dartmouth Alumni College, Crosby Hall, Hanover, N. H. 03755, enclosing a registration fee of $15 for each adult and $5 for each child. The total all-inclusive fees are $350 per couple and $115 for juniors, ages three to eighteen.
The three-to-six junior group will be supervised at the Hanover Nursery School. Those children seven and more may elect Hopkins Center classes in woodworking, metalworking, drawing, painting, sculpture, jewelry, and lapidary. Juniors who play musical instruments are encouraged to bring them as a musical extravaganza is planned in which all those who sing or play may participate.
The seventeen- and eighteen-year-olds may elect to attend all adult lectures, seminars, and evening events for a total fee of $140. Director McGean and his staff think this particular feature offers an excellent orientation opportunity for those who will be freshmen at any college in September.
