Since President Dickey would be speaking at the statewide meeting in Hartford about the usual date of our annual dinner, it was decided to hold our meeting on April 26 this year. Over fifty persons came out for the occasion held in the home of Martha Louise and Dick MacDonald '44. Joan Wheeler, wife of retiring president HubWheeler '49, was in charge of a committee of ladies who prepared a buffet supper.
The presentation of Bridgeport "D's" to the guests of honor present opened the meeting. Jim Broderick '45 introduced Charles A. C. Thomas '10 and Brad Morehouse '46 introduced Sargent F. Eaton '11. Unable to be present were Wendell G. Reycroft '17 and W. G. Marden '11, since deceased.
Stan Curtis '24, Ralph Sperry '39, and Jim Biggs '62 presented the following slate of officers which was duly elected for the '67-'68 club year: President, Jim Gentile '54; Vice-President, Al Acker '52; Secretary, Dick MacDonald '44; Treasurer, Bob Clark'22; Interviewing Chairman, Jim Venman'55; Enrollment Chairman, Jim Biggs '62; Executive Committee, Walt Augustyn '59,Reed Banks '29, Ray Builter '36, Stan Curtis '24, Stan Lonsdale '24, Dick Revenaugh'44, Bob Stearns '38, Hub Wheeler '49 and Jack Hoeveler, undergraduate father.
Assistant Professor of Psychology, Victor E. McGee, gave a most interesting talk about his work with undergraduates. He also spoke about what Dartmouth offers the teacher-scholar and finished up by saying that he and Mrs. McGee had decided to remain in Hanover.
