FRESHMAN SPORTS

Several teams made news among the Little Indians this spring, including the freshman baseball team which whipped through its slate for an undefeated 12-0 summary. Coach Eddie Jeremiah, with the help of hoop coach Dave Gavitt, tutored the team through the season, in spite of increasing physical difficulties which plagued that wonderful man until his recent passing. His last coaching assignment was a fine and fitting tribute to his great career.

Freshman track posted a strong 5-1 dual meet summary in outdoor action this spring, pointing the way to better things to come in varsity competition next season.
