On Sunday, August 4, 1968, a cocktail party was held at Dave Camerer's ('37) place. There were in excess of forty couples in attendence and a good time was had by all as can be attested to the fact that the last couples left long after sundown. It was that kind of party .. . and, incidentally, the third successive year that the Camerers have opened their doors to the many alumni in our three town areas. As Dr. Markey Pullen'22, Ross Pearl '24 and Fred Bowes '30 observed, "the best ever." Bud Rosenthal '56, and Treasurer of the Club was "bitten" by a collapsible lawn chair and was attended to by Dave Walton '55 and his wife, Alice, an RN-rated gal who got Buddy down to Dr. Pullen's for treatment as an out-patient. Dave, by the way, is the new enrollment officer for the New Canaan area. He has lined up Ted Meier '47, Brock Saxe '62 and BobFuller '61 to serve on his committee this year.
A special note of thanks for all the alumni goes to Muriel Camerer for the use of her home, to Barbie Pullen, Judi Van Law, Sheila Rosenthal, Alice Walton, and Carol Weber for the arrangements for this festive occasion.
The next meeting of the New Canaan-Ridgefield-Wilton Dartmouth Club will be held Wednesday night, October 23, 1968 at the Roger Sherman Inn, New Canaan, Conn.
