Many favorable responses have been received regarding an interim Reunion in 1953 or 1954, so we believe we should proceed to make arrangements tor such an affair. Any suggestions will be gladly received. No doubt many of you have some ideas regarding place, time of year, etc. All of them will be given due consideration.
Gus Hartigan is now living in La Jolla, Calif. He was fed up with winter conditions in Chicago and was glad to get away. The climate, the all-year-round sunshine, and .so many other features appeal to him so much that he hopes to be able to locate there permanently.
Bill Sykes is back on his farm again and finds it in excellent shape and all crops going well. In fact, the farm has never been in such good condition. He is making a specialty of glads and has planted some over 3000 bulbs, with more to come. Bill hopes to come on to the States for the New England Glad Show in '53 or '54, so he is a booster for the interim Reunion about that time.
