OCTOBER in Hanover, with its multicolored New England foliage and crisp mornings, is a time for unhurried reflection. Last month, a select group of undergraduates had plenty to reflect about.
The students, members of three newly formed committees, are the first in the history of the College to be institutionalized into the decision-making process.
The committees are the College Committee on Standing and Conduct, final undergraduate judiciary except for the Trustees; the Campus Conference, a group designed by President Dickey to bring student ideas to the attention of the administration and Trustees; and the faculty's Presidential Search Committee, which plans to call in students as it looks for a successor to President Dickey.
