THIRTY YEARS AGO the above picture on the cover of our November 1938 issue was the first in the long series of cover photos that Adrian Bouchard has taken for the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE. And happily the end is not in sight. From the scores of D.A.M. covers he has created, Adrian has chosen a baker's dozen of his favorites, reproduced on these two pages and the next.

ADRIAN BOUCHARD (left) with Alfred Eisenstadt of Life. A native of Berlin, N. H., he came to Hanover in 1937 and has been College Photographer since 1938. The University Photographers Association named him "Photographer of the Year" in 1966 and he has won the Dorothy C. Eames Award from the New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association, of which he was president in 1963-64. An ardent outdoorsman, he has hunted and fished with President Dickey for many years.
