Sarasota

The Dartmouth Club of Sarasota had their first dinner of the season on Thursday, December 7 at the Top-of-the-Terrace, Sarasota Motor Hotel at 6:30 P.M. There were thirty members in attendance. Just to mention a few ... in addition to our president, Jim Bonnyman '38, were Sumner Emerson, Gil Swett, George Gregory, all of the Class of '17, Dave Rice '40, Gunny Gunnison '21, and Bob Hardy '25.

After a delightful dinner, S. Holt McAloney '26, our vice president, gave us a most interesting talk on semantics, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

As this report is being written we are all looking forward to our next meeting which will take place at Jim and Ginny Bonnyman's home, 1357 Harbor Drive, on Friday, January 19, at 4:00 P.M. which is to be a Buffet Picnic.
