Honored by Simmons

Mrs. Charlotte Ford Morrison, Dartmouth's Alumni Recorder Emeritus, was honored with an Alumnae Service Award last month at the mid-winter meeting of the Simmons College Alumnae Council.

Mrs. Morrison, wife of Prof. Hugh S. Morrison '26, is a graduate of the School of Library Science' at Simmons. She was a member of the Simmons College Corporation from 1947 to 1953. Her special assignment was to set up an Office of Resources, choose the director, and outline the program. She was a member of the Alumnae Association's nominating committee, 1964-67, and its chairman in 1967. She is an active member of the Simmons Club of New Hampshire.

Mrs. Morrison, well known to Dartmouth alumni, was named Dartmouth's Alumni Recorder in 1926 and retired on January 1, 1962.
