On March 7, 1968 Dartmouth alumni, wives and guests gathered at the Tavern Hotel in Montpelier at 5:30 p.m. for a social hour followed by a dinner, short business meeting and a speaker. During dinner Al Foley '20 related numerous new stories concerning his favorite subject, Vermont humor.

During a short business meeting the secretary gave the highlights of last year's meeting at which a Central Vermont Dartmouth Alumni Association was organized. The following were elected officers for the ensuing year: President, Donald Spalding'57; vice president, Norris Knosher '60; second vice president, Ralph Lash '53; secretary-treasurer, Albert Bliss '27. Executive Committee: Harold P. Shea '48, Alden Guild '52, and lames Young '22. Mention was made with apparent agreement by all that the organization should more actively promote the College especially to prospective future students in this area.

The speaker Rev. Paul Rahmeier, college chaplain, was introduced and again, Hanover made a good choice in sending Paul up to talk to us. I feel Dartmouth is extremely fortunate to have him on campus.
