In token of his performance as the outstanding Class Agent among classes 11 to 25 years out of college, John C. Klein '52 (left) received the 1967 Harvey P. Hood Trophy at the Alumni Fund dinner in Cleveland on March 28. George Kingsley '54 (r), president of the Dartmouth Club of Cleveland, made the presentation on behalf of the Alumni Fund Committee and read the following citation:

As you start your sixth campaign as Head Agent of the Class of 1952, you once again find arrayed against you some of the toughest competition in the entire Green Derby. Indeed, the fine record made by '52 has been some- what overshadowed by one adjacent class in particular. However, you have not lost your enthusiasm for "trying harder" and one year you were "number one." During the past five years, the Class has averaged an annual growth of 21 %, resulting in a dollar total of $26,000 last year, two-and-one-half times as high as when you took over in 1963. Because of this sustained achievement, the Fund Committee feels that it is high time to give you and your Class the recognition you deserve by honoring you as the outstanding Head Agent of a class from 11 to 25 years out of College.
