James B. Thompson Jr. '42, Professor of Mineralogy, Harvard University, is the author of "Chemical Reactions in Crystals," in The American Mineralogist, March-April 1969; and the co-author of "Mixing Properties of Sanidine Crystalline Solutions: III. Calculations Based on Two-Phase Data," in The American Mineralogist, May-June 1969.

Daniel O'Connor '43 wrote the book and lyrics for a one-act musical play, The AmenCorner, produced in Washington, D. C., by the Back Alley Theatre. He also is the author of "Harlem's Addicts Center" in Rehabilitation Record, September-October 1969, and "A Happening, Not a Conference" in Journal of Rehabilitation, September-October 1969.
