The Cover
Superimposed on a photograph of the Dartmouth College Charter is a drawing of Eleazar Wheelock based on the painting by Joseph Steward. The drawing is by P. J. Conkwright of Princeton and was done in 1954 for a booklet about Dartmouth College published by the Newcomen Society, to which we are indebted for use of the drawing.
