Minute Man

Our new clubformed by combining two previous clubsMelrose and Mystic Valleyheld its kickoff meeting on December 4, 1968 at the Woburn Country ClubWoburn, Mass. In spite of really poor weathera real Nor'eastera total of 118 Dartmouth men and their ladies were on hand to enjoy an excellent buffet dinner and a great program.

Coach Bob Blackman was our speaker covering the athletic picture at Hanover and a review of the past football season. Everyone really enjoyed Bob's humor and stories and the question and answer period could have gone for hours.

President Bob Shirley '57 outlined his program for the year, and stressed the need for more and better coordination in the field of enrollment. Temporary officers were introduced President Bob Shirley '57, secretary, Morgan Marshall '38; treasurer, Win Bridge '56; enrollment chairman, John Koslowski '43, and program chairmenCharlie Tseckares '57, Bob Daily '61, and Doug Knox '61. A meeting in the spring is now being planned.
