The Dartmouth Alumni Association of the Seacoast Area held its annual mid-winter luncheon meeting at the Sherwood Motel in Dover, N. H., on Wednesday, December 18, 1968.

We were happy to host more than 25 applicants for admission to Dartmouth College and approximately an equal number of undergraduates who assisted the alumni in explaining what makes Dartmouth tick to the interested applicants. This Club is very pleased to learn that for the first time in our history, there have been four candidates for admission from this area who have been accepted by the College as early decision applicants.

Alfred T. Quirk '49, Deputy Director of Admissions, presented an unusually fine talk on admission procedure at Dartmouth College and as the featured speaker answered many questions by the candidates. We will have our annual meeting in the spring.
