The College has received a bequest from the estate of Martha S. Hadden, widow of Arthur Archibald Hadden, amounting to $42,411 to establish an unrestricted Arthur A. Hadden Memorial.

The deaths of John Hancock Dowdell on May 31, 1970 and Edgar StrattonChappelear on July 7, 1970 are herewith reported. In Memoriams have been prepared and will appear in this or a latter Magazine.

Mrs. Herman L. Dillingham has given up her home in Osterville, Mass., and is now at #2 N8,3030 Park Ave., Bridgeport, Conn. 06604. Mrs. Frank J. Reagan has had to give up her home and is living at 492 Staten Drive, Oakland, Calif. 94610.

Dr. Henry E. Meleney drove up from his home in Gainesville, Fla., in June to visit his sister Grace at her summer home in Oak Bluffs, Mass. In July, the two visited Nova Scotia and then in August Ed drove back to Florida.

Chester S. Brett had a mini-reunion luncheon at his home in Harwichport, Mass., the last of June for Ed Meleney, HalClark, Jim Tuttle, and Bert French.

Reginald and Molly Colley are planning on attending a conference in Ottawa the middle of this month. Reg has cut down to a four-day week and is doing considerable writing. They report the arrival of their first great grandchild, a girl, on August 17. Congratulations.

Mrs. Josephine Ford, Ned’s widow, reports that she is making a slow recovery at her home in Marshfield, Mass., after spending most of May and June in the hospital.

Gordon and Grace Weinz spent some time in July at Cataumet, Mass., where Gordon spent his summers as a boy and undergraduate.

Harold and Harriet Clark celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on October 3. At the annual meeting of the Sagamore Beach Club, Harold’s 40-years of service as treasurer was recognized by presenting a special award to him.

Word from Cloudcroft, Etna, N. H., is that Anna Bull is convalescing at home after being hospitalized with a heart attack. Their daughter Ruth has been with Wilbur and Anna during this time.
