The Club has been extremely busy pursuing different activities—dialogues with students, location investigations, redecorating, and private functions. In addition, our normal facilities have been used by our 804 members, Dartmouth members had 585 guests, approximately 60 members utilized our affiliation with the Lawyers Club, approximately 100 room reservations were made for Dartmouth alumni at the Hotel Commodore through our club, and our private room is reserved practically every week night.

Our dining room has been completely redecorated, and we urge alumni to stop in and have lunch at the club table. You’ll find at least some of the “regulars” at the club table.

Friday evening, May 22, the students from Hanover, representing both the Strike Committee and the Strike-Back Committee, carried on with alumni participation a lively discussion. Our club wants to promote more such discussions since we feel this type of activity helps the students, the College, and the alumni understand one another’s point of view.

The Club offers thanks to Willard Doyle ’33 and John Phillips ’2B, who will be retiring from our Board of Directors this year. The nominations for the new officers and Directors are as follows: Paul Pagannucci '53; Vice-President—Skeff McAllister ’59; Secretary—Alan V. Davies ’63; Treasurer—Frank Wrights ’54. Directors —Carl Ray ’37 and George Farrand ’33.
