WITH A RECORD, sellout crowd of 20,306 at the game, and 35 alumni classes holding informal Hanover reunions, the Princeton Game Weekend, October 9-10, produced what is believed to be the largest return of alumni on record. The DCAC reported the filling of 4,683 alumni ticket applications. Friday night's pre-game rally and bonfire drew a huge throng to the campus, and with fine weather and all the color and excitement of the game (billed in advance as crucial in settling the Ivy League championship) Hanover learned that football spirit, sometimes called "fall madness," can be as rampant as ever.
