Secretary K Beal has a joyous announcement to make to the '99 family! Miss Maude Fowler and I were married in mid-January. The happy event took place at the New England Friends Home in Hingham, Mass. Two of the four Beal boys, William and George with their wives, were present for the ceremony, along with a small group of other relatives and friends.

Maud is a native of Salem, Mass., and attended the Salem Normal School. She taught in several places on the North Shore and in Providence before her retirement, eight years ago. Hence we both have a background of teaching and young folks.

We will continue to live at the Friends Home and will welcome visits from classmates and friends. I am most anxious for my '99 family to meet this new member.
