A BLACK STUDENT JUDGES THE STRIKE

IN the midst of the white student strike stood "The Black Reality in Racist America," It didn't mean too much to us, the strike that is; it only meant that white students were allowed to participate earlier in their annual spring protest that was quite successful; successful in that it did lead to an earlier summer vacation and their day on the cover of Time (fellow brothers of the world; thank you for letting me be myself, uninhibited expression). It meant that the students were roused over their government's participation in Cambodia, and they felt naively guilty over the genocide being practiced on Black people and a few whites. The student body felt sorry for and committed to oppression, so they gave $2,000 to The Black Panther Party and canvassed the community for two days before they went home; a number of white students became more conscious of american oppression in Cambodia and then began to question american foreign policy in Southeast Asia and peeked again at the sickness of white racism in america. In the meantime Black people (benignly neglected) are being genocided, I mean genocide in america is cool, 'cause white students are angry about Cambodia and maybe sometime in the future maybe in September when school starts, maybe then the students can have time out to be aroused about the oppression of Black People in america, well if things look right and the markets go up and the niggars are still around after "benign neglect." I think that will be the time to look at the niggar situation. I mean it seems like our niggar hopes aint gon get us nowhere cause whitey's jive institutions of america, owned and operated institutions of white america, are some racist inanimate objects, who don't care if Blacks live and are making sure that Blacks die, yeah, all Black people want is what's in the constitution of the land, those same rights. It's so real that as I write these words for what I knowingly assume will be a limited white audience, I see myself as a foolish Black Man who has run out of the war zone and is writing to his oppressor the Quadcentennial announcement of genocide that is being dealt on Black People. It seems as though I tell a strange story as old as the history of Black People in america. The same old reality, only stepped up to keep pace with space exploration, meaning the moon and the war in Cambodia in Vietnam in america, are all in relative position to the direction of the people who control the government. The government is controlled by white people. Could of been Black or White, Yellow, Red, and some other colors, but it's white, and this white government spends 75% of its time, money, material, and people toward war and space.

Why is america in Vietnam, Cambodia? Why are Black People being oppressed? Who is it that the commission report on civil disorders reported america as being a sick country suffering from White racism; Stop! cause I can, use "the american college dictionary to define those harsh words that the situation of Black reality is defined in; the words of Genocide: Extermination of a national or racial group as a planned move; Oppression: the exercise of authority of power in a burdensome cruel or unjust manner; tyranny, despotism or depressing white racism: suppression of Black People because of race. The kerner commission found, as though it was hidden, they said there is an inability of american white society to treat Black People fairly; surely as with the commission report and the hundreds of other such reports, all in rhetoric of their day, report the same conclusions; america is a racist country that has exploited the Black People of the world which is reflected in america by the unemployment, poverty, oppression, and lack of education suffered by all non-whites; maybe after another billion or so words find their way off paper into the minds of the good americans who wear white hats, maybe something?

Maybe if i could keep t.v. out of my life, i could stop seeing the murder, but is there any human way out of the murderer's way, cause i'd like to raise a family free from the traditional american way, for Black People or NATURAL LIFE, the murder that is, i mean maybe after the moon has been colonized and the gas shipments across the continent are complete, well then we just know as soon as Vietnam & Cambodia & Taiwan & Africa & Red China, well we just know that some-day or night, tomorrow & tomorrow america is going to straighten up & stop all its oppression & murder & settle down to its moral commitments: that all men are created equal, with GOD given rights.
