of Old Greenwich, Conn., holds the award presented to him by the Amateur Athletic Union National Diving Committee at a recent meeting in San Francisco. Long-time chairman of the AAU Diving Committee, Jack has represented the U.S. on the International (Olympic) Diving Committee since 1956 and has been its chairman since 1965.

As recipient of the AAU 1970 award, he was saluted as "a gentleman who has contributed more to amateur diving during the past three decades than any other person. With a thorough knowledge of the sport as competitor, coach and administrator, he has won, through diplomacy and tact, the confidence and respect of his colleagues in national and international diving. We honor him for his years of dedicated service to amateur sports."

Former Dartmouth swimming captain and AAU national diving champion, Jack is a partner in the New York architectural firm of Eggers & Higgins. He designed the new Dartmouth swimming pool.
