J. Almus Russell '2O continues his prolific publishing career with "Early Horse-Drawn Vehicles" in The Antiques Journal (Dubuque, Iowa) January 1971.

James C. Risk is author of two articles: "A Gold Plated Carthaginian Stater" in TheNumismatic Review, Vol. XI, Number 4-6, 1970, and "1804: The Continuing Story" in The Numismatist, August 1970.

In The New York Times Book Review of January 17 Gregory Rabassa '44, Professor of Romance Languages at Queens College, evaluated Of Men and Crabs, a novel by Josué de Castro, translated from the Portuguese by Susan Hertelendy.

"Self-styled layman," Harold H. Leich '29 is author in the January issue of Environmental Science & Technology of an essay entitled "A Challenge to the Environment Pro."

Senior English teacher at Cincinnati Country Day School and head of Living Language Arts, Inc., Garven Dalgish '30 has written "The Dreamers and the Doers," dealing with commercial and industrial real estate, which appeared in the January issue of Cincinnati Magazine.

In the December 1966 issue of Journal ofMammalogy appeared "Range and Habitat of the Bandicoot, Echymipera Clara, in New Guinea" written by Hobart M. Van Deusen '33 as co-author.

"Enigmatic Moody Bedel" is the title of an article by Daniel Doan '35 in the January issue of Historical New Hampshire, the magazine published by the New Hampshire Historical Society.

Richard A. Robie '50 is co-author of "An Internal Sample Container for Hydrofluoric Acid Solution Calorimetry," published in Vol. 78, 1970, of Journal of Geology under the auspices of the Committee on Experimental Geology and Geophysics, Harvard University.

As a contribution to stratigraphy appears in Geological Survey Bulletin 1244-B "Upper Ordovician Formations in the Maysville Area Kentucky" by John H. Peck, M.A., '62.

In the 1970 edition of Contributions toMineralogy and Petrology, Springer Verlag, John C. Stormer Jr. '63 has co-authored "The Kudo-Weill Plagioclase Geothermometer and Porphyritic Acid Glasses."

As contribution No. 1625, Division of Geological Sciences, California Institute of Technology, printed 1970 in the Netherlands, appears "Stability of Mantle Minerals from Lattice Calculations and Shock Wave Data." Edward S. Gaffney, M.A. '66 is coauthor

The Journal of Chemical Physics, August 1969, has printed "Heat Formation of 02" an essay co-authored by Edward S. Gaffney, M.A. '66.

David B. Sclove '67 is co-author of an article appearing in the Journal of theAmerican Chemical Society, Vol. 92, number 27. The title is "Thermal Reactions of a Cyclopropanone. Racemization and Decarbonylation of trans-2, 3-Di-tert-butylcyclo-propanone."
