Pam Reed, an outstanding skier as an undergraduate at Middlebury, is the newest member of the Dartmouth coaching staff. She'll work with Coach Jim Page in developing a women's ski team as well as assisting in the physical education and recreation ski programs.

Speaking of women's sports, field hockey is the first area in which the coeds are already involved in intercollegiate competition. Coach Agnes Bixler is leading the gals who have a four-game schedule this fall.

Jerry Daly, a freshman, paced Dartmouth's golf team which finished fourth in the regional qualifying competition of the ECAC's fall tournament. Daly fired a 74 at Hanover Country Club to advance to the individual finals.

In tennis, Dartmouth placed sixth in a 16-team field at the ECAC's fall tournament at Princeton. Junior Rick Woolworth and freshman Rob Tesar won the "C" doubles title.
