With scores of 66-1-65 by EugeneHoward '49 and 85-8-77 by EverettWilson '48, Dartmouth scored a decisive win over six other Ivy twosome teams to win the 18th Annual Chicagoland Ivy League Alumni Golf Tournament at the LaGrange Country Club on September 21.

Howard's last putt on the 18th hole just rimmed the cup, otherwise he would have tied the 65 record for the par 71 course. As defenders in this tournament and host for the day, this was a back-to-back victory, making a total of seven in the 18-year series for a Dartmouth alumni team.

The best ball, net foursome event was won by the Dartmouth-Harvard combina- tion at 59. Playing for Harvard were John T. Stimpson, Lake Forest, Ill., and J. M. Greely, Winnetka, Ill.

Results of the third individual team matches in the second seven-year round robin, 1970-76, were: Dartmouth 142, over Harvard, 158; Brown 158 over Princeton, 162; Yale 161, over University of Pennsylvania, 166; Cornell, 157 by default over Columbia (represented by non-Columbia alumni guests).

Dartmouth will be host again in 1973 with a tentative date of September 13, at Bob O'Link Club, Highland Park, for the event.
