December was a full and rewarding month for Dartmouth in Detroit. Our regular luncheon, the first Monday in the month, at the University Club started it all off. We were pleased to welcome BobWarner '39. In addition to Al Momenee '36, president of the Club, there was Bill Cooper '66, JohnSterling '44, Bill Mackey '49, Dick Brown '29, C.K. Moon '35, Phil Moon '42, and Tom Candler'45. Tom has taken over as Chairman of the Glee Club Concert scheduled for Monday, March 26, 1973 at the Horace Rackham Auditorium. On December 7 Dave Orr came in from the College and met with the Executive Committee. They turned out 11 strong to hear all the latest from Dave.

The real climax was a great Christmas Luncheon held on the 21st at the Birmingham Athletic Club. On hand were 26 alumni and 10 undergraduates to greet and meet the prospective students and their parents.

Chuck Seelbach '70, the Detroit Tiger pitcher, was our speaker. It was interesting to hear his comments about the relationship of the Ivy League to the athlete and in turn the Ivy League to the professional athlete. John Short '71, assistant freshman coach, showed "Highlights of the 1972 Season." Reggie Williams '76, Flint, Mich., co-captain of the freshman football team also had a few words for us.
