Dartmouth will hold its preseason "day of football" with Yale at Memorial Field on September 22. Coach Jake Crouthamel will send his varsity reserves against Bowdoin the day before, also at Memorial Field.

Elliot Noyes '32, retired coach of track, was honorary referee at the NCAA indoor championship meet and has been inducted into the United States Track and Field Federation's Hall of Fame.

Chris Peisch, a sophomore from Burlington, Vt., has been elected captain of the 1973 cross-country team.
