Naturally there was no general change in the activities of classmates during the past summer. Of course we all go through that season a little easier than at other times, but seldom move very far.

Our class president wrote of his drive to Portland to have lunch with Jennie Thompson. His two surviving children and two grandchildren arrived to help him celebrate his 94th birthday on September 1.

The class secretary spent part of his summer in visiting his daughter in Charleston, Ill., and his younger son in Pueblo, Colo. During these visits he renewed his acquaintance with three great-grandchildren in each place.
