Richard K. Fox, formerly assistant dean for development of the Tucker Foundation, has been named director of development of the Dartmouth Medical School.
In his new position, Fox will direct a selective gift campaign, authorized recently by the Trustees of the College and necessitated by the coincidence of a drastic reduction in federal funds with increased costs of a curriculum newly expanded into a full M.D. program.
A 1960 graduate of Brown University with an M. Ed. degree from Antioch, Fox joined the Dartmouth administration in 1967 as director of the Peace Corps training program. Fie became executive officer of the Tucker Foundation in 1970 and assistant dean the following year.
