Central Florida

The 29-year-old Dartmouth Club of Central Florida held its annual dinner meeting February 25 at the Langford Hotel in Winter Park. With Phil Pendleton '54, president for 1973-74, presiding there were 45 in attendance including wives and guests.

The following officers were elected to serve for 1974-75: Arnold W. Alexander '39, president; Dr. Gordon S. Parsons '49, vice president; Duke C. Mills '35, secretary; and Sam W.Cockrel '65, treasurer.

Dean of Freshman Ralph N. Manuel '58, guest speaker, gave an excellent talk on current student attitudes and activities. Afterward, he responded to a number of questions from the alumni regarding ROTC, the Indian symbol, women at Dartmouth, and the effect on the budget of soaring costs of fuel.
