1974 Fund to Reach $3.75-Million Goal

At the time this issue went to press, all indications were that the 60th anniversary Alumni Fund campaign would reach its $3,750,000 goal. The June 29 totals were $551,000 ahead of last year, exactly on the pace required to reach the full goal. Participation appeared to be holding even with 1973.

Responsible for this remarkable success are two major factors: the outstanding achievements of the 1974 reunion classes which accounted for one-third of the overall total and CHALLENGE 60, the $250,000 fund established by three anonymous alumni to match increased and new gifts. Alumni responded to the challenge, earning the entire amount.
