President of the Year

1916's E. Parker Hayden was honored as Class President of the Year at Class Officer's weekend in May.

His citation points out that the past year was a critical time of reorganization for the Class which has been successfully achieved through nine issues of a very interesting newsletter as well as through an increasing number of items in class notes in the Alumni Magazine. Further, the Class' dues paying records were classified "notable," and 1916 produced a 210 percent performance in the 1974 Alumni Fund campaign to win the top spot in its Green Derby.
