Treasurer of the Year

Lane Goss '25 was honored as Class Treasurer of the Year at Class Officers Weekend in May.

His citation points out that Lane's family has for six generations been a Dartmouth family and also for six generations a banking family. "Before you retired in 1968 you were president and then chairman of your bank . . . It comes as no surprise that your class elected you its treasurer in 1970 and, to prove the wisdom of their choice, you have improved class participation during the past six years from sixty-one to seventy-one percent for both graduates and non-graduates."
