This being the football season, we — along with the alumni magazines of Pennsylvania, Princeton and Cornell — asked Whitaker and artist Arnold Roth to comment on the Ivy game. For his part, Roth conjured an image of an Ivy-twined Whitaker in cordial entente with combatants from — what else? — Pennsylvania, Princeton, Cornell, and Dartmouth.
