The normal summer doldrums were dispelled at our July meeting with a record turnout to greet the new slate of officers. After many years of good and faithful service, "Monty" Mountcastle '22 relinquished the reins of leadership to our new president, "Whip" Walser '32. "Monty," in turn, was elected president emeritus - which means that we still expect to get some mileage out of him! Rob Dressier '67 is our new vice president and Paul Jameson Jr. '48 becomes treasurer.

At the present time the new administration, in conjunction with our executive committee, is formulating an expansion of our activities over and above our sponsorship of this year's Ivy League affair. This latter will probably be held either in late November or early December and any wintering alumni are most welcome. In the past the Dartmouth Club has always offered something unique when it was responsible for this event and there is no reason to believe that this year will be different.
