As you will see, this issue carries an article on "fashion" at Dartmouth. Dan Nelson '75 models the contemporary style for males: down vest, jeans, and boots.

As we went to press, Time, in its issue for November 29, ran an article about the out-of-doors look which fashion-watchers say is sweeping the country. The article featured a picture of a young man wearing a down vest, jeans, and boots; the caption read "Goose-down near Harvard."

The young man, however, is not a Harvard student. He is Treffle La Fleche, Dartmouth '77. Whether Mr. La Fleche perceived his arrival in Cambridge as a mission in fashion-consciousness-raising was not dealt with in the article.
