The College's Arizona contingent is well represented in the Bicentennial Wagon Train Pilgrimage now making its way across the continent from West to East.

Bud Brown '25 is the wagon master of the state wagon, and joined the train at Yuma. He will remain with it until the Pilgrimage reaches its destination July 4 at Valley Forge, Pa. Joining Bud for two days and 50 miles was Bill Gilmore '34 of Scottsdale.

The wagon is pulled by four matched mules with two more in reserve, and the train travels 20 to 25 miles per day six days of the week, with the seventh day reserved for rest.

An Arizonan since soon after graduation, Bud has had a career as a teacher and as operator of a camp, museum, and restaurant. Bill has lived in the state for nearly 20 years and has been an airline pilot and real estate man. Both have served as officers of the Phoenix Club.
