Worcester County

The Club reports the following activities during the current academic year:

A reception was held at the Assumption College Christmas Holiday Basketball Tournament in Worcester for members of the team, alumni, and guests. The event was made more enjoyable by virtue of the fact that Dartmouth College won the tournament.

An annual meeting of the Alumni Club was scheduled for February 5 and the Club was pleased to hear Professor Al Foley.

On February 17, an organized trip to the Dartmouth-Harvard Hockey Game in Cambridge was enjoyed.

For April 30, a Joint Scholarship Fund Raising Event with Assumption College in Worcester has been scheduled. A dinner dance featuring the Jack d' Johns Trio has been planned. Proceeds received by the Club from this event will be used to support the Scholarship Fund maintained by the Club for the benefit of Worcester County students.
