Last August Pat and Mike Wolff left Rapid City, S.D., for St. Louis. Pat finished a tour with the Indian Health Service and started her pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital of the Washington U. Medical School. Mike gave up his directorship of the Black Hills Legal Services to become an assistant professor at the St. Louis University Law School. Son Andy is almost two and thriving.
Lew Hitchner is in Salt Lake City attending the U. of Utah studying for his doctorate in Geography and specializing in the use of computers for remote sensing imagery. Previously, Lew earned his M.S. in Operations Research at Berkeley, worked for I.C.I. America in Wilmington, Del., and consulted in real estate investment in Salt Lake. He is living 13 miles from Alta and is currently using his third annual skiing pass!
Martin's Foods of South Burlington, Inc., Burlington, Vt., has appointed Hugh Farrington to the post of vice president. Hugh received a masters degree from U.N.H. in 1968 and served with Martin's as a grocery buyer and store manager before his promotion. He and his brood are living in Jericho, Vt.
Pete Golenbock is covering local politics and writing feature articles for the Bergen Record. New Jersey's largest evening newspaper. Pete wrote that it's "not quite as much fun as working on The D . . . the pay is lousy, the hours stink, but it's a terrific occupation." Apparently, another sports book epic is in the works, this time concerning the glory days of football.
Our second, Zachary Scott, weighed in at eight pounds, four ounces this past January 20. Nancy, Hilary, and I are groggy from the early a.m. feedings but are otherwise well and looking foward to our departure from military life this July.
