Nort Canfield reports, "After 12 years in the Caribbean (busily practicing my specialty otolaryngology) I am now in Connecticut with an office at 29 Whitfield St., Guilford 06437, home at 49 State St. Expect to continue to practice for at least five more years to keep ahead of inflation if possible. Not much traveling these days, but keep up my hobby of house renovating and am doing it ot our present home. Have one son, one daughter and three grandchildren not far away. Would like to hear from any '25ers."

Les Frenkel responded to the June newsletter with good wishes and also says "Just returned from a Los Angeles trip to see grandchildren - the oldest one off for a trip to Europe with 40 kids under a head from the University of Illinois. The boy is a sophomore at Claremont College (law) in California. Not much news. Don't see any of the boys and we are all getting older. Would love a real dinner get-together in New York for all '25ers in the nearby area. It's a long pull to Hanover these days."

Paul Brundage wrote this summer from Rossmoor, N.J., that his wife Pearl died on April 23rd. "She was with me at our 50th reunion. We were married at The Little Church Around the Corner in New York City July 1, 1964. I am glad I live at Rossmoor, an adult retirement community, where I find many kind friends and enjoy the golf and social activities. We moved here in 1967. Do stop off at exit 8-A on the New Jersey Turnpike for a visit. I have a daughter in San Diego and one in Pittsburgh and five grandchildren. I retired from J.C. Penney Company February 1, 1963, and have really enjoyed my retirement. I had some surgery this spring but am already back to 18 holes of tournament golf!"

Ford Barrett reports from Spokane that he and Ginny are now in an apartment which has a splendid view of the Spokane River falls and the new central city park with all the tracks and bridges of four railroads removed. Ford sold out his brokerage realty business five years ago but kept the appraisal firm for a time until turning it over to his son Dan and four associates. For 50 years of service in the real estate field, Ford was recognized this year by the National Association of Realtors with their formal designation of "Realtor Emeritus." He has had some eye operations but feels fine, has fairly good vision, attends regular and monthly meetings of two banks and one mortgage company, and reads all the Dartmouth news with interest. Ford says he and Ginny see Will and Mabel McLaughlin but have not had any contact with Joel and MaryAntrim in Missoula for some time.

John Garrod and his wife have sold their New Boston, N.H., home and built a small place near their son Miles in Milford, N.H. They are on Echo Road, Route 2, and John says, "Our best to all classmates. Do drop in to see us."

Bunny Levison writes from Brookline, Mass., that he keeps busy as a stockbroker in Boston and that once in a while he and Marian fly down to Marco Island, Fla., where they have a condominium apartment and where they occasionally see some classmates.

Bill Boies and his wife left Connecticut (Naugatuck) last winter and also went to Florida where they saw the Hawley Tafts at the Hillsboro Club in Pompano Beach, the RossBeattys in Naples and en route the Bill Megees at Rehoboth Beach.

Bud Reber is still traveling. He and Fran had a trip earlier this year through the Panama Canal and up through the Caribbean, making their third stay at St. Thomas. He says, "We have a good supply of firewater in case any '25ers get around the Dunkirk area."

Chemistry professor Walter H. Stockmayer, former holder of the 1925 chair, has received a grant of $45,000 from the National Science Foundation to be used for the study of physical chemistry of polymer solutions.
