Your secretary spent an enjoyable Saturday afternoon recently watching a Dartmouth-Yale hockey game on television. It was very exciting and ended in overtime, Dartmouth just managing to tie 5-5 at the very end. It confirmed my opinion that hockey is a much more interesting and exciting game than basketball.

The sad news has just arrived of the death on January 20 at his home in Falmouth, Mass., of our esteemed classmate, Sumner Crosby. His daughter, Melvina Crosby Herberger, writes that Sumner had gone downhill very rapidly towards the end and that he died sitting in his own easy chair at home. A complete obituary will be in this or a future issue of the MAGAZINE.
