Thanks to an anonymous gift in memory of Frederic A. Davidson '14, a pottery workshop operated by the Hopkins Center has been opened in the section of Norwich which used to be called Lewiston.
Located in the old Lewis homestead, a brick house just across the Ledyard Bridge from Hanover and near the old railroad station, the workshop is primarily for students, although it is available also to College personnel. Its facilities include six pottery wheels, electric and gas-fired kilns, and equipment for glazing.
