Gordon Keith Wentworth '40

Gordon Keith Wentworth '40 received on June 10, 1978, the Dartmouth Alumni Award in recognition of his outstanding service to country, profession, community, and college. "Your promotions," began the award citation presented by Alumni Council president Don Hummel '55, "from army private to major in five years,'and from bank clerk to senior vice president in 25 years, along with your service to your community and to the College (sometimes commuting almost 200 miles daily), have earned you the silver crown you wear and the award you are about to receive."
