More than 60 years ago Hanover pee-raders to Boston for whatever reason were accustomed to meet friends at the famous old Adams House. But now they have to be more specific, because of the newly named Adams House atop Mt. Washington, with its blowing snow and gusty winds.
Many New Hampshire governors participated in the planning and building of the new summit house, but they graciously chose to honor our Sherman Adams at the dedication of the new building. What a fitting tribute to the man whose personal characteristics so typify the whole northern New England area.
How many classmates were there we do not know, but from Dick Litchfield '22, we learned that Hazel Macomber was there. How that lady gets around!
Another item of interest, thanks to Nancy Elliott, was a story about Wentworth-by-the-Sea and Steve Graves of Novato, Calif. Steve was at Wentworth participating in clay court tennis matches. Needless to say, he excelled as usual. How many golden balls have you acquired to date, Steve? Do let me know.
