I asked Mark Schleicher if I could be guest columnist for this issue. I wanted to remind everyone in the class that June 17—19, 1983, are the dates for our 15th reunion. Mark these dates on your calendar and plan to attend!
On July 31, we had a reunion planning meeting at my home in Andover, Mass. It was attended by Tom Parks, Dick Glovsky, John Leavitt, Pete Zacchilli, me, and our wives and kids. Libby Roberts '79, of the Alumni Fund office, was also there.
We developed a program that should be enjoyed by all. We've included everything from a clambake along the river and a class banquet in the 1902 room, to a seminar with the class of 1968 (entitled "How High is Up") and a tennis tournament.
For the first time we will have a full children's program. The D.C.A.C. staff will run the program. They have done it for years and the if ids have a great time. It is conducted by age group 5—12 and 13—15. Baby-sitting can be arranged for even younger kids.
You will be receiving a letter shortly from me and Pete Zacchilli, who is co-chairing the reunion with me, supplying more information on our reunion plans. Dave Prentice will also keep you informed about the plans for our 15 th through the newsletter.
Remember: June 17-19, 1983, 1969's 15th!
