The advent of the holiday season is upon us — so is the advent of the skiing season. Although Gil and Ann Sykes live in Stamford, Conn., their second home is in Dorset, Vt., in the heart of the ski country. Before we leave New Hampshire it should be announced that the law firm of Devine, Millimet (Joe, that is), McDonough, Stahl & Branch in Manchester has opened an office in Nashua with a distinguished lawyer as a partner, Paul S. Although the press has reported Budd Schulberg's fine efforts to develop the young literary talents of Watts, you will be interested in a recent book he edited entitled "From the Ashes - Voices of Watts." Budd wrote the introduction to these writers from Douglass House where he conducted his workshop.

After the Yale game several classmates attended the cocktail party and buffet provided by Gene and Kate Tamburi at their lovely Tobacco Valley Inn at Windsor, Conn. Paul Guibord took the opportunity to introduce his bride of a month, Louise Barclay.
