The class was represented at Class Officers Weekend by Don Wilbur, Stan Chittick, Roly Taylor, Robin Robinson, and Dana Bent, all accompanied by their wives, and by Beatie Adams and Dave Dyche. It is always an interesting and informative weekend an opportunity to meet with the officers of other classes and the College officers, as well as to learn first-hand the current affairs of the College and plans for the future. Following the class officers program, a meeting of the class executive committee was held. More details regarding this will appear in the " '24 Hour Notice."
And as a most pleasant ending to an enjoyable weekend, the Morins entertained the group, plus the Aliens, for cocktails at their delightful home in Norwich. The Morins had returned to Norwich from Arizona on May 5. Dave Dyche visited the Holmlunds in Green Valley recently, at the same time seeing Dick Countryman and Jeannette French. The Holmlunds at that time were making plans to return to Falmouth for the summer, along with plans for Harry's annual salmon fishing trips.
The Aliens are planning a trip to Alaska in July for 17 days, during which they will fly to Seattle, then go via the inland waterway to Alaska, returning through Seattle en route home.
The Van Huycks moved on May 1 to a retirement home in Pennsylvania. Their new address is Beech wood Commons, Apartment #208, New Castle Street, New Wilmington, Pa. 16142.
This will be the last 1924 class notes column until the October issue of the MAGAZINE. Meanwhile, details for the fall weekend party will appear in the " '24 Hour Notice."
Have a good summer.
